A Wonderful Community of Friends!
After moving to Morristown a year ago I started coming to the center to play rook. This center is very active and welcoming. Valerie, the director, is fabulous at her job. She goes way beyond in scheduling trips, events, and luncheons. The staff are all friendly and it is a great place to come and make new friends.

I started attending after my husband passed away. It is a great place to meet people like myself. My favorite activity is playing rook on Tuesday and going on all of the trips. Valerie is a wonderful director and has a lot of things planned.

I started because I was new to the area and didn't know anyone and was becoming depressed. I heard about the senior center having a class on quilting so I signed up and went to the class. Then I learned about the center and decided to join.

A year after I retired and moved back to Morristown, I started getting a little bored. I stopped by the Center to get a calendar and check it out. This is my fourth year! I have made a lot of new friends.
We are all about the same age, so when we exchange life experiences you see a lot of heads nodding - we get it! I am endlessly entertained by the stories we tell.
The Center is truly my second home. I am there 3-4 days a week. I am thankful for the opportunity to volunteer there. I wish more people would get out of the house and come check us out. We have a good time!

I have found an awesome place to spend a few hours a day with nice folks and good conversations as we enjoy our golden years. All sorts of trips, events, card games, crafts, scrabble, dominoes, bingo, line dancing, lunch and learn, just to name a few of the things happening at the Center. Come meet the lovely staff and discover some things you enjoyed in your youth.
