Michelle recently retired from the IT department at the George Washington University after 22 years. She started volunteering here at the Center delivering meals for the Vital Visits program and now does anything to help. She enjoys working with seniors and helping at the center. her hobbies include photography, Genealogy, diamond art, and exploring East Tennessee.

"I believe in the necessity of the Senior Center. I see its need every day in the form of the appreciation in the voice of a senior shut-in after receiving a Vital Visit meal or watching the joy in the eyes of someone who just yelled out BINGO. Where would these seniors have to go if it weren't for the Center? And besides. it's a lot of FUN!"
